Depart from Dushanbe
Meeting Point: Opera Ballet building / Chocolate Cafe near Osterio Mario. We begin our journey north to the Sughd region.
Arrival in Istaravshan
Arrive in the ancient city of Istaravshan and head towards the Kattasay Reservoir for the main ascent.
Bust of Lenin
Climb the 365 steps to stand at the base of the “Guardian of the Reservoir.” Note the unique design where Lenin points towards the water, symbolizing progress and irrigation.
